Thanks For The Memes (Re-Issue)
Augie March know when to rock and when to show delicate restraint. They provide a truly unique and beautiful sound and are arguably the most critically acclaimed band in Australia at the moment.
So just what do Augie March sound like? Says singer/songwriter Glenn Richards, "Our sound is guitar based, but it's not guitar music. I suppose you'd call it "anti-folk". It uses folk's devices....but goes for a murkier sound. There's a dark rock sound underneath."
Their 1998 EP 'Thanks For The Memes' was re-released in 2003 following the success of their much-lauded album 'Strange Bird' and includes the track '300 Nights', taken from 'The Hole In Your Roof' EP.
